No. Hypnosis is not sleep and you don’t lose consciousness. You remain aware, present, and able to hear, speak, and respond throughout the session. Many people describe it as a deeply relaxed, focused, or inwardly attentive state.
No. You remain in control the entire time. You can always choose what you accept, what you ignore, and what you want to engage with. Hypnosis works through your participation, not through your surrender.
Most people are able to experience hypnosis in their own way — especially when they approach it with curiosity, openness, and a willingness to participate in the process. There’s no “right” way to do it, and nothing you need to force. The experience simply meets you where you are.
Hypnosis works best when it’s something you’re choosing for yourself, rather than something you feel pressured into. If you’re feeling curious, open-minded, and willing to explore, that’s usually more than enough.
This is also what the complimentary conversation is for — a space for us to meet, talk through what you’re experiencing, and explore together whether this approach feels like a good fit for you and whether it’s likely to be supportive in your situation.
Usually, yes. Some people remember everything clearly, while others remember parts in a softer, dreamlike way. Either is completely normal. You’ll also receive an audio recording of your session so you can revisit it if you wish.
No. Hypnosis is a natural state that your mind moves in and out of on its own. You naturally return to ordinary awareness when the session ends — just as you do when you finish daydreaming, meditating, or becoming absorbed in a book or film.
That’s okay, and it’s part of being human. Emotions are welcome and supported in this space. We move at a pace that feels safe for you, and nothing is forced or rushed.
That depends on what you’re working with and how long it’s been present. Some people feel shifts quickly, while others benefit from a series of sessions over time. That’s why sessions are offered in packages — to allow space for change to unfold naturally.
No belief is required. Curiosity and openness are helpful, but you don’t need to convince yourself of anything. The process works with your experience, not against it.
You’re always welcome to ask. That’s what the complimentary conversation is for — a space to wonder, clarify, and explore whether this work feels right for you.
